Mon premier message et je râle sur Vista ! J'ai récemment été approché par ma belle-mère (qui adore Vista - en particulier la barre latérale) car son précieux imprimante laser ne fonctionnait pas avec Vista. En vérifiant le site web d'Epson pour un pilote Vista, tout ce que j'ai trouvé était un commentaire indiquant que cette imprimante n'était pas supportée sur Vista. Ah, les joies de Vista ! Alors, j'ai pensé pourquoi ne pas essayer d'installer le dernier pilote XP sur Vista. Cependant, cela n'a pas fonctionné. Bien que le pilote semblait s'être installé correctement, lorsque j'ai essayé d'imprimer quoi que ce soit, je n'ai reçu que des messages d'erreur bizarres ("ebapi not found..."). Mhm, une approche différente était nécessaire et voici comment j'ai finalement réussi (je ne peux pas garantir que cela fonctionnera pour quelqu'un d'autre) :

1. Si vous avez installé le pilote XP sur Vista - retirez-le !
2. Allez sur https://www.epson.eu/support/ et sélectionnez "Imprimantes laser", "EPL-5900L" et "Windows XP"
3. Allez dans "Drivers & Software" et téléchargez "Silent Driver (3.3.2fl)" (qui est un fichier .zip)
4. Décompressez le fichier zip où vous le souhaitez sur votre disque dur
5. Dans Vista, allez dans le Panneau de configuration -> Imprimantes, sélectionnez "Ajouter une imprimante".
6. Ensuite, sélectionnez "Imprimante locale", choisissez "USB" comme port d'imprimante local et lorsque vous êtes invité à sélectionner la marque et le modèle de l'imprimante, sélectionnez "Avoir le disque"
7. Parcourez le répertoire où vous avez extrait le pilote à l'étape 4 et sélectionnez le fichier EPT0252E.INF
8. Si Windows vous dit ensuite qu'il a déjà trouvé un pilote pour cette imprimante, optez pour l'option de remplacement
9. Voilà ! Il ne reste plus qu'à imprimer la page de test pour s'assurer que l'imprimante fonctionne correctement

The driver “Silent Driver (3.3.2fl)” is not on the "drivers and software" page. But I found it here:

tested on Win8 64 bit, you need to install the driver for the Epson Monochrome P6.
The 5900 works with it, I think it should work under Vista as well.
