USB peripheral malfunction on Canon IR C3326i

Hello, I bought a Canon IR C3326i that was delivered without the installation CD. The USB peripheral does not work; when I insert a USB stick there is no reaction. I had to download the driver online to install, but that does not enable the scanner and fax option. Could you help me find a solution? Thank you.
