How to convert a TS file to M2TS? Online or via software. Free of charge if possible ...............

      Hello Jeannets and thank you for your response.

      The videos recorded on the box are in M2TS format. So if I want to add more from the PC, I convert them to M2TS.

    Yes, I understand,

    the M2TS is essentially an enhanced TS to meet the requirements of Blu‑ray and HD recordings, including copyright protections, while the TS remains the basic format used for generic video broadcasting and storage, without any protection identity.

    -- we should try to introduce an MP4 video into this device and see if it plays normally on the TV afterwards... or not..??

    -- Furthermore, there exists a PC software that allows video capture in several formats and encodings, it is "CapTVty"  https://captvty.fr/  Version 2.11 in particular.

    -- It allows recording films in Replay (if allowed) and directly in M2TS

    -- For other videos already in the folder, it can convert them to MP4 and also to M2TS (but not always)... There you go, so it would be worth trying... depending on the number of conversions to consider... because there must be a key that protects rights (DRM)

    Well, my M2TS conversion isn't playing on the box.

    I'm going to try converting it to MP4.
