Transferring photos from my smartphone to my computer

Hello forum,

I’m equipped with a Galaxy A05s.

Until now, I had no difficulty transferring photos from my smartphone to my computer. When connected, I just needed, in the settings I think, to enable a function called "USB Notification" and, when I activated this function, my smartphone became like a camera from which I could extract the photos.

I can’t seem to find this function in the settings anymore. Would a recent device update have removed this option, forcing me to go through a Gmail account? A well-thought-out tactic to then charge for storage space...

Is there a way to get out of this as easily as before?

    I just found the answer on the forum. I should have looked a bit more before throwing out my question.

    It's OK for me now.
