PC Security Check with Windows Secure Boot Update

Microsoft is updating the Secure Boot certificates for Windows on all compatible PCs before the expiration of the old ones set for June 24. The purpose of Secure Boot is to verify, even before Windows starts, that the system has not been tampered with by malicious software. Most of the certificates currently in use date back to 2011 and will expire in June 2026. To avoid security issues on millions of PCs, Microsoft has begun rolling out the new Secure Boot 2023 certificates.
