    Hello,

What are the references (Brand and model) of your "Wired headphones"?

Your Hitachi television has a digital optical audio output.

As a result, you cannot directly connect your wired headphones (analog audio) to the television. You will need to acquire a digital optical to analog converter.

I will give you an example of a converter once you provide me with the headphones' references to ensure I do not make a mistake.

Hello and welcome as a new member. Without further research, I believe there is an audio headphone output located on the side edge of the television, a stereo mini jack. Please refer to your remote for further adjustments.

In addition to the digital optical audio output, there is a headphone output.

Disadvantage: when a headphone is plugged into the 3.5mm jack (headphone output), it cuts off the sound from the speakers.
