Delete apps on Qilive 24" Smart TV

Hello,

We bought a Qilive 24 Smart TV for our kitchen, and we want to remove applications that are installed on the television. The user manual is not clear on this issue!

We tried to do it by going to the home screen, then selecting APP, long-pressing the OK button, then pressing V, we should see uninstall but nothing appears!!!

If anyone has successfully done this and could kindly help us, it would be wonderful!

The television is a Qilive Smart TV 24" Q24HSB

    Good evening,

    In most cases, on this type of entry-level television, pre-installed applications cannot be uninstalled by the user; however, sometimes, with certain updates, the manufacturer may choose to remove some, but this remains quite rare nonetheless.

    As for the reference, it should rather be the Qilive Smart TV 24" Q24HS241B, I believe, unless I’m mistaken!

    Hello,

    There is an ADB-TV app that allows you to remove applications on a smart TV, even those that come pre-installed.

    I will give it a try.

      Hello,

      * Due to Android restrictions, system apps cannot be permanently uninstalled and their apk files will remain on the system.
      There is no way to uninstall them without root privileges.
      These apps will not start and will not function, they are not installed for the operating system.

      OK, but you run the risk of permanently crashing the operating system and ending up with a TV that's good for the dump!
