How to recover a file deleted by mistake?

Hello, after upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, I wanted to delete several things that were installed like the widget, the card game, etc. Unfortunately, I deleted the Videos folder and cannot recover it. I was thinking of doing a system restore, but the last restore point is from October 7 and Windows 11 was installed on October 8, so I'm afraid of reverting back to Windows 10. I don't want to pay for an installation again (my PC wasn't compatible and I had to pay for a license). Do you have a solution to suggest? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your response, but it's not one or more files that I thought I had lost, but the "VIDEOS" folder in the file explorer.
Automatically, I right-clicked on the file explorer icon and saw it appear at the bottom of the list. I resolved the issue by pinning it to the home, and my problem is solved, beginner's luck!!!

Hello,
A restoration resets the system to the date when the backup was made. The data are not affected, except for a full backup of the volume or personal folders, or if they were installed on a separate disk.
Therefore, reverting to Windows 10 would be pointless (the data having been wiped).
Furthermore, if the "professional" carried out a disk formatting installation without offering you the option to perform it yourself beforehand, you will not be able to recover the data.
If I understand correctly, this is a new video folder created under Windows 11, so you can use, with no guarantee of complete recovery, the free versions of these two software:
Recuva
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/19127-recuva/
easier, but relatively effective.
Photorec, known to be (more) complicated
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/21721-testdisk-photorec/
https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec_Etape_par_Etape
In both cases, the files are not found in the original order, but if it is just a folder, it shouldn't be too problematic.

Hello,
If the data was previously on the C: drive:
Download Shadow Explorer 0.9 Portable (Free) here:
https://www.shadowexplorer.com/downloads.html
Extract the entire folder somewhere, and run ShadowExplorerPortable.exe
Select your C:\ drive if not already done.
Choose a date when the files were present.
Navigate to Users > Your name >
Right-click on the folder or file and click on Export
Choose a destination...
