TLS non recoverable suddenly with wanadoo and orange

Hello,

I don't understand, I haven't changed anything at all, I turned off my computer last night and this morning my email indicates RECOVERABLE TLS ERROR with Thunderbird. Can you help me?

I have checked, the ports are correct and SSL/TLS encryption is configured.

Hello,

To resolve the unrecoverable TLS error with Thunderbird, disable the OCSP check in the settings of Thunderbird and Firefox. Remove the Avast certificates and use TLS 1.2 or higher.

Hello,

Another user mentioned this morning a problem of the same nature with Orange.

If, as mentioned, the situation occurred overnight without any changes to the security settings, it is likely that there is a temporary bug with the validity of the security certificate on Orange's servers.

I removed the OST control in the privacy and security tab. Great, thank you. Everything is working again.

Will we need to re-enable it once Orange has debugged its certificate validity?
