Hello,

I have a Samsung Neo QLED that has a 10-bit panel, and I wanted to know if I should leave it at the default 8-bits or if I can set it to 10-bits on my Xbox Series X in the video settings?

Thank you

Hello,

I don't understand your problem, no one is stopping you from trying...

Personally, I set it to 12bit compatible with my TV, I haven't really noticed a difference, but I left it like that.

The Xbox only offers you compatible settings.

The most complicated part is the HDR which needs to be configured to get a good result, but even then, there's nothing breathtaking about the change.

Hello, thank you for responding to me.

I’ve read here and there that it should be set to 8 bits, while other advice suggests setting it to 10 bits, so I'm a bit confused???

My TV is compatible with HDR10+ gaming, and apparently, it could be set to 12 bits, but I’m not sure if my panel supports that.

8 bits = SDR

10 bits = HDR10

12 bits = HDR10+

This is what I read on a forum, and it’s really complicated to set up when you don’t know much about it.

As for the HDR calibration settings, I left them at default; I prefer not to touch that.
