    Hello,

Is this TV on a wall mount?

The buzzing or crackling noise coming from your TV is completely normal and occurs when parts slightly expand or contract due to changes in ambient temperature. They are entirely dependent on surrounding conditions (temperature or humidity). For example, it is possible that your screen makes a cracking sound every time you turn it on or off.

If your TV is on pause or playing while the sound is muted, you may sometimes hear a strange noise (clicking, buzzing, crackling).

This noise is simply due to the mechanical expansion and contraction of certain parts in your TV. It can be emitted during playback, an hour after turning off the device, or when turning on your TV from a cold start. Note: this noise is perfectly normal; Sony cannot fix it.

Is it very hot at your place right now?

What is the model and brand of this TV?

If not, check with the warranty as mentioned by georges97 (whom I salute by the way…).

    Hello,

practically new does it mean bought a few months ago or bought from someone who presented it as flawless?

In the first case, use the warranty to have it checked by the store; in the second case, unless you have some knowledge in electronics and testing equipment, look for a customer service for a quote and repair.
