Medieval CUE Splitter, issue with .APE files.
Riquet44 -
Hello everyone,
Medieval CUE Splitter is failing to process .APE files and it would be because of the absence of a DLL (macdll.dll). Except that even after finding and placing this DLL in the correct folder, the problem persists. Is there something else needed?
Thank you for reading.

Hello,
Place it in System32 and also in the program folder unless somewhere it is specified to go elsewhere.
Otherwise try Xrecode III (30-day trial or paid), or Xrecode 2
Option Extract.-
Hello,
I don’t understand a thing, the Medieval Cue Splitter FAQ says it’s a matter of Monkey's Audio version and Macdll.dll.
https://www.medieval.it/apps/native/windows/cue-splitter/faqsThanks for your responsiveness! I read your link and indeed, there seems to be a contradiction in what this site says, but anyway! What I did was download the latest version of Monkey's Audio, extract it with 7zip, grab the dll, and place it in System32. I’ll try to do the same with the 4.06 version mentioned on the page. But I’m wondering if it isn’t necessary to place this dll in other locations besides System32. The PATH variable contains many folders, so it might be better to simply know which directories Medieval searches and place the dll in those. But I don’t yet know how to identify the folders the software scans.

The problem isn’t ultimately related to the locations. Why?
I retrieved MACDll64.dll (my laptop's architecture) and MACDll.dll (just in case) and placed both in all the locations indicated by "echo %PATH%", as well as in Medieval's folder. After rebooting the computer, the same problem.
