    Hello as well,

Politeness formulas are essential on the CCM Forum... https://www.commentcamarche.net/infos/25855-charte-d-utilisation-de-commentcamarche-net-respect-d-autrui/#politesse

In your diagnosis, there are applications to uninstall, especially those that are useless.

        Good evening MPMP10,

The greeting never appears in a title or am I too old to understand their way of doing things.

    Hello,

You should uninstall Avast as well, it has no equal when it comes to consuming RAM excessively; Windows already has a built-in antivirus that is more than sufficient for your needs.

    Hello,

+1 to getting rid of Avast

But I think the reason is the CPU overheating at 97°C

    What is the cooling system?

    Hello

    +1 for the CPU temperature.

Given the age of the PC, it would be a good idea to consider a thorough cleaning and a change of thermal paste for the processor.
