Hello,

upon opening a video, you may notice that part of the sound is missing!

1- You can fix this problem: Audio Menu - Stereo Mode - Select "Stereo".

... but when opening a video, the "Stereo" mode is no longer selected!

It is necessary to set it permanently to Stereo:

2- Menu "Tools" ... Preferences ... Show settings (at the very bottom), click All.

under Audio line 8 "Stereo audio output module", select "Stereo" ...

then click "Save" at the bottom.

Close and reopen a video, you will find that now the Stereo

      Mode is permanent.

3- This setting will, however, be lost upon installing a new update,

you will need to remember to redo this operation.

Best regards.

" at the start of a video, " : which video?
    On what platform?
    From which source?

" we can see that part of the sound is missing! ": which part?
    On which element?

    " Menu "Tools" ... Preferences ... ": in Musescore3, I can't find these menu labels anywhere...

    etc. etc.

So no, it is NOT clear.

Ok, my apologies, the message is incomplete, I had overlooked that the software was not specified automatically ... as it is VLC media player...

Since I updated to the current version 3.0.20, I have noticed that it always opens with a lack of audio; I had to check the Audio option every time I started it ... stereo mode on stereo, so my help reminds how to lock this choice to Stereo.

You are indeed right to be surprised! I was confused.

    Best regards.

      Good evening,

Uh no, it's not clear at all. What exactly does this tutorial apply to, which software does it refer to?

      (Let's assume it's a software…).
