Blocking aliceadsl email address
Solvedbob74 -
Hello,
My aliceadsl email address got blocked yesterday and I can't access it since. According to the totalbug site, there are several of us in this situation. I contacted Free's "abuse" service but have received no response so far. Has anyone found a solution? Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Only the operator is able to correct an error on its own servers; the only option is to wait for it to be fixed.
You can try disabling the extensions in your browser (or trying another browser…) like an ad blocker or others, or also check by clearing the cache in your browser.

Thank you very much for your response. The address had been compromised (like many others, it seems). I sent an email to ***@*** who replied and restored my access to the account.

Good evening.
At what email address did you request to unlock access to "aliceadsl"?

For your information:
( abuse (@) proxad (dot) net )
To reactivate your account, we ask that you have identified the likely reason why your credentials were compromised and to verify that your network is reasonably secure. You can send your request to Abuse service ( abuse (@) proxad (dot) net ) with the subject "Compromised Account") by carefully specifying:
- the username of the compromised account
- for each network device on which the compromised account is used (for both receiving and sending), specify:
- its type (computer/laptop/tablet/etc. running Windows/Linux/MacOS/iOS/android/...)
- the email client and its configuration (Webmail, POP/IMAP/SMTP and associated ports)
- a brief summary of an antivirus/malware analysis
- the complexity of the compromised password (length, lowercase/uppercase/numbers/special characters)
- whether the same password has been reused on other sites/services and if you had provided the compromised account as a contact email address
- whether there are IoT devices on your network (IP cameras, smoke detectors, etc.) and specify if any of them are configured to send emails with authentication (using the compromised account's credentials)
- the use of VPNs or open networks (hotel WiFi, station WiFi, etc.) to check your email
If you have serious reasons to believe that your account has been compromised in another way, I invite you to send us your explanations.
Best regards,
