Hello,

In the Android settings, I’m stuck on this question:

Go to Settings

Tap Network & Internet

Select Advanced settings

Tap Private DNS

Choose the hostname of the private DNS provider   <––––– what to put here

Enter the DoT (DNS over TLS) address you chose based on the preferred filtering option

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    I quote:

Enter: dns.dns4eu.eu if your phone supports DNS-over-TLS

Otherwise you have to go through third-party applications and that will be more complicated, all that for this...

Thank you very much. I will test that.

Finally no! I no longer have access to the sites.

I get the message: unable to define the DNS address followed by the site name.

    Hello,

    try

    protective.joindns4.eu/dns-query

for the filtered version, or one of the other four, for example noads instead of protective.

And there you go, there you go, voilà ....

But goodness, how tiresome the line spacing is!!

Actually Android does not seem to accept the /,

so only provide the fqdn without the dns-query:

      protective.joindns4.eu
