Lg C4 problem

Hello I’m asking the question here hoping to get an answer. I recently bought an LG C4 TV. The problem is that the remote for my soundbar and my set-top box controls my TV. For example, when I press the equalizer button on my soundbar, it launches the Disney app on my TV. I have no idea why it does this. If you have any solutions to my problem that would be great, thanks.

Hello,

In general, the CEC function in service of a device allows you to control another peripheral device with the remote of the first.

See in the menus of your devices where the CEC function is located and try to set it to off or inactive.

What are the references (Brand and model) of your soundbar and your TV box?

As for the television, this function exists

Very hard to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it isn’t there...

Thank you for the response Ben, on my TV the function is disabled, my soundbar is an Edenwood, I don’t have the reference handy, and my box is the Freebox Pop

Okay.

For the Edenwood soundbar, there is certainly a label on the back to find the model.

For the Free 4K player, see: https://www.universfreebox.com/article/30207/Freebox-mini-4K-le-HDMI-CEC-est-disponible
