Hello, Afflelou has had its client data hacked and they have sent emails to their clients. Why is there no mention of this in the press??? Thank you.

    There are a few occurrences, it seems very recent (the announcement), it takes time for it to circulate in the media, but if you look a bit on this reference site, if the media reported on all the leaks, that’s all they would do.

      Yes, I received the email yesterday as a client.
      But the official communication from Afflelou surprises me because if only the client CRM data was stolen, why was the information regarding the insurance company also stolen? It probably concerns another third-party payment module of their information system, just like with many opticians (so the CPAM number, etc. may also have been stolen).

    As for making the front page, I don't think it deserves such coverage, it's indeed a daily occurrence! And with large groups as well.
