When I type the website address into the Google search, it's not the right one that appears.

How can I fix this problem?

The website in question is: https://www.Handi Sport Co Breizh.fr

A clothing sales site appears instead!!!

      The question has already been raised, but it is only getting worse. One could perfectly access it by entering the address, except that some searches indicated an Asian clothing site in the "subtitle."

      Now even direct address entry fails, but that doesn't change the question; as already mentioned, either the site has been corrupted by codes on its server, or the address itself has been hacked and redirected.

      In the latter case, there isn’t much choice but to put the site back online under another address with a similar name, even if it might be inconvenient for an association..

    To clarify the issue, if I enter these 3 addresses, I do reach the site:

    https://www.handisportcobreizh.fr
    www.handisportcobreizh.fr
    handisportcobreizh.fr

    But if you enter, with spaces, Handi Sport Co Breizh.fr, which is not the address, not the site's URL, it triggers a Google search, which gives results that apparently correspond to the site, but clicking on them redirects us to an online sales site. The addresses from the search, pointed to by the mouse that appear in a popup seem correct but not the site we land on; we briefly see the correct name in the URL area before it gets replaced.

    As indicated in the discussion mentioned by @brucine, it is likely that the site has been hacked and its source code modified.

    If we look at the footer in the source, there are hundreds of addresses that shouldn't be there:

        Thank you for the answers, but I am not an expert at analyzing code snippets, I know nothing about it to be honest!
        Many contacts from people regarding this, people do not understand that by entering the name of the association they end up on a "bastard" site.
        The worst, one could say, is that we don't know how to solve it...
        However, when you type the name of the site in http only, you do end up on the right page...http://www.handisportcobreizh.fr

        The solution is to ask the site administrator or the developer.

        This site is developed in WordPress. In computing, a good practice has always been to create backups. When the site was developed, a backup was made, when performing minor updates, modifications were noted, when installing a major WP update, a backup was made beforehand, and after installation, a new backup was created.

        In case of issues, we restore the backups to reinstall the version that predates the problem.

        Without up-to-date backups, an expert in WP is needed to investigate the sources and identify the infected module. Or to do a fresh installation from scratch.

        I can publish articles on the site, I have the contact details to do so, but I am not the official administrator.
        An assessment by someone, why not; I'm not sure that the official administrator has the necessary knowledge to resolve the situation, if they did, I imagine they would take care of it!
        Starting over from scratch, why not, but I'm afraid that the official administrator would want to apply this instruction. I'm not the one who created the site, and I'm not sure they acted alone to realize it.

    I am making a modification as it was mentioned in the other post.

    In fact, the site seems to have been referenced by a foreign third party; it's Google that needs to be contacted.

    By the way, the CNIL or even 17Cyber.

        We still fall under a legal framework as an association that is a victim in the sense of identity theft. The CNIL is a regulator, and it seems to me that there is a dedicated area for companies in Cyber17, and an association is somewhat close to that. We have plenty of tools in place in France, but nobody uses them.

        I haven't done webmastering for a while, but it seems to me that we can force indexing through Google Analytics, can't we?

        True that I'm not taking any risks by trying the experience, so why not question the two suggested sites, I will get on it.
        In the meantime, I have taken the initiative to contact Google Chrome (the issues are the same on Firefox) and will wait again, hoping for a follow-up this time...
        It's possible that we can force it through Google Analytics, but first we need to know how it works, which is not my case and honestly, I have never been interested in those details.
