GIMP 3.0 won't accept my photos.

Hello

I updated GIMP but I can no longer import my photos with the following extensions

jpg and png.?

Even when creating an image, GIMP no longer recognizes these extensions?

Except for xcf, which I can't use in other applications

    Hello.

    In my opinion, your images are corrupted, the extension has nothing to do with it; you can attach any extension you like, that's not how software determines the type of a file.

    The ideal would be for you to host one of your images and provide it here so we can see what the issue is, and if we can open it with Gimp.
