Hello,

I usually download a lot of audiobooks from the website 1fichier.com. When I click on the "access download" button, it either redirects me to an ad and I end up back on the same page, or nothing happens at all. I tried switching browsers, but it’s the same thing, it’s a real mystery. I can no longer access the download. Do you have any idea? Thank you.

Hello,

following the opening of an ad page and its closure, you just need to click on the "access the download" link again, it should work.

If the problem persists, you might want to try an ad blocker like AdGuard; personally, I use the Brave browser, which has its own blocker and no issues.

Hello,

I have disabled ad block, the ad plays, I skip it, I click on download,

it tells me "the free download is slower please wait.."

and it goes back to the initial page "access the download"

I just downloaded your browser, same problem :/

when it was working just 4 days ago, grrr

I just did a test and I don't have this issue, the download starts fine so it's not a general bug...

If you try to initiate the download from another device (PC, phone), is the problem still present? Try downloading another file or one that worked correctly before.

If so, it could be an issue related to your IP, which might possibly be blacklisted by 1fichier (not certain about that).

I only have one computer, but I can go test with another internet connection.

Why would I be blacklisted on 1fichier?

In the case of a dynamic public IP, previous users may have abused or tried to circumvent the free download system. Renewing the IP will fix the problem.

In the case of a static IP, I have no idea; you would need to contact 1fichier if no solution is found.
