Mouse not moving on the second screen

Hello,
I just acquired a new PC running Windows 11. I made sure it supported dual screens in extended mode with the vendor.
But when I switch to extended mode, my mouse stays desperately on the main screen and refuses to move to the second screen (it gets stuck at the edge).
When I am in duplicate mode, there's no problem; the pointer is nicely duplicated.
I have searched online, but I can't find any solution that works.
This seems like a simple problem, though.
I should point out that my old PC (Win 8) worked perfectly, even with two mice connected!
I have one screen via HDMI and the other via VGA.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?
Thank you.
Best regards

    Hello,

Have you tried moving the mouse to the 4 edges of the screen? Because the second screen is not necessarily positioned where you think.

    Hello,

Thank you, I found it! I just needed to switch the screens in the control panel. I thought I had done it, but perhaps I did it incorrectly.
