How to uninstall PC Privacy Shield?

Hello

My keyboard got stuck and I received a message from Windows asking me to call a number, which I naively did, and I ended up with this platform that offered to solve my problem for a fee… 550€

I now have this PC Privacy Shield application that I can't uninstall.

    hi

    press the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys

    in the window that will open, click on Task Manager

    in the page that will open, find your browser (Chrome/Firefox...)

    click on it to highlight it

    click on End Task

    restart the PC

    It's a scam from fake support, you shouldn't have called the number on the other end, there are only crooks; in fact, it was the internet browser that was blocked. Next time, to unblock it, see the solutions to unlock the situation.

    To avoid this kind of thing, install an ad blocker on the browser.

    For the issue with PC Privacy Shield, please do the following so I can see if it is still present.

    Download FRST.

    Once downloaded, save FRST on the desktop, then right-click on FRST and choose Run as administrator which will give you this:

    Wait for the message the tool is ready to operate to appear and then click on Scan

    Note, wait for the messages saying that the scan is complete to display.

    At the end of the scan, the two reports FRST and Addition will be on the desktop.

    Send the FRST and ADDITION reports to cjoint.com or pixeldrain.com.

    Then attach the two links generated by cjoint.com or pixeldrain.com in your message.
