Hello,
Typed or handwritten text, the technique is the same, use OCR software. Often provided with a printer that has a scanning function.
But in difficult cases, more powerful software may be needed, which is often paid. And in the case of handwritten writing, it should be possible to create a recognition table for the handwritten characters in the document.

Hello,
Recognizing cursive handwriting is possible with a smartphone, as long as the text is written very clearly (not a doctor's prescription!).
The smartphone's camera allows you to scan documents. It can recognize texts (including handwritten texts like the one I wrote).
You just need to copy and paste the text into a note-taking software or into Word (Office 365 is free on smartphones). The result is not as good as with a real scanner, but it can be quite acceptable.
What is well conceived is expressed clearly,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello,
What slander....
I've seen doctors write in a perfectly acceptable way; when one wants to, one can. Others, however, write in Gothic illuminations that are not acceptable, and that's dangerous.
Formally speaking, a doctor has the right to write a prescription on any medium except for certain categories of medications, as long as the regulatory mentions are included, but aside from home visits and a few irreducible Gauls, without going into details, the Vitale card and the control of prescriptions by health insurance already constrain more or less towards computerization and soon digitization, which will lead to the total disappearance of paper.
To get back to the point, digitization via a smartphone is just a makeshift solution, not to mention the quality of the image capture, which is somewhat akin to the issue of document scanners, but more than that, the results are often disastrous if the writing is very clear or in the presence of certain colored backgrounds (apparently bulls don't like red, and scanners often don't like old driver's licenses on a pink background).
Free OCRs themselves are often questionable.

Hello
Your handwritten text can be scanned by a printer. Otherwise, you can take a photo of it with your phone / page by page / and upload the files to your computer / convert it to PDF or WORD using the following site: pdfguru.com or a free conversion software. It will be tedious if you have a lot of handwritten pages.
