Map download error on GPS

Downloading foreign maps on GPS Garmin Nüvi 2545 LM route error, how to delete it?

Since then I can no longer use the GPS, the data that were present before seem to have been overwritten by the addition of these maps because I think there wasn’t enough space for this extra storage.

    We don’t know which map this "download" corresponds to.

    The only normal route is Garmin Express, which this old model is probably no longer eligible for and that will offer, at best, only the original mapping, possibly for several countries (for example Southern Europe).

    In other cases, for example FreizeitKarte, you download them and copy them to an SD card; you cannot do this in the GPS memory, which surely does not have enough space and cannot overwrite the original map unless you copied it from a PC with the same name.

    The remedy then goes through the same route, provided you can find the original map: from your PC delete the unnecessary maps and then copy this original map back, although you probably cannot copy it as is because these commercial maps are obviously locked.

    Consider checking on a specialized forum like Sorcière Monique to see if you can still perform a Master Reset and how you can bypass this lock; it is not guaranteed that you can do so if you have not made an external backup of the GPS system files.
