Alcatel E260 SVoice Directory

Hello,

I can't seem to add numbers to the phone directory of an Alcatel E260 SVoice (Uno) phone. My phone is connected to the Livebox play.

    Hello,

    Associating a phone with an answering machine to a Livebox is a mistake. Indeed, this association causes all the features managed by the phone's base to be lost. The Livebox becomes the base, while the phone's base serves only as a charger.

    Among the lost features, the answering machine and the directory, among others, are part of this phenomenon.

    The solution is to backtrack... unpair the handset from the Livebox and re-associate the handset with the original base, then reconnect this base to the Livebox with a telephone cable.

    Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it's not there...

      Thank you, I will try but it's annoying because the Livebox is in another room of the house. Too bad for us, we'll just carry the handset around.
      What a pity, it worked with others: it was working with a Gigaset.

        Indeed, there are Gigaset models where the directory is managed by the handset and not by the base.

        If this phone is new... you might consider trading it in for a DUO model
