Connecting a landline phone wirelessly
SolvedChristianM -
Hello,
I no longer remember how to add a DECT landline phone to the Livebox without connecting the cable because it is not in the same room of the house. In the past, I have connected 2 cordless DECT phones, but I can't find how to do it now.

OK
You want to make a wireless link... on a Livebox Play, which is entirely possible.
However, this will pose a problem.
You have a phone with a built-in answering machine. Associating the handset of this device with the Livebox Play will make you lose all the functionalities managed by the phone's base. Among others, the built-in answering machine and the call blocking will no longer work.Once the association is made, the phone's base will only serve as a charger.
The Livebox Play will become the base.
How many handsets do you have?
Additional question: Where is the Livebox located? Do you have RJ45 sockets in your rooms and a patch panel in the electrical distribution cabinet? This could allow a wired connection.
That said, if you really want to proceed and lose the functionalities of the E260Voice base, and if we really cannot use another means to connect the base with a telephone cable via RJ45 sockets, here is the procedure to follow:
On the handset

Hello,
What are the references (brand and model) of your phone and which model of Livebox do you have?
It’s very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it’s not there... -
Alcatel E260 S-voice and Livebox play.
The box indicates: Hub router box compatible.Thank you
