Touchpad: vertical scrolling not working anymore

Hello,
For a few weeks now, the vertical scrolling has not been working on the touchpad of my HP Pavilion.
I tried downloading the "Driver for ELAN Touchpad (Windows 10 v1903/v1909)" from the HP website, but that didn't solve anything.
What can I do to get it back? Thank you

    I finally found a solution: I went to the "ELAN Touchpad Settings" > Options > Scrolling from edges. The "Vertical scrolling" option was checked, I unchecked it, then checked it again and the scrolling started working again!
