I just changed my PC and I saw in the programs that there was this

Eclipse Temurin JRE with Hotspots

What is it for?

Can it be deleted?

    Hello,

    Without further ado, this is a Java module used in the Eclipse programming IDE.

    It may be used by an installed program or it may have been maintained unnecessarily.

    I don't think there is any particular risk.

    If you have retrieved the PC from a user who installed many programs, you might end up with as many esoteric-named system files.

    Logic would suggest reinstalling a clean system, which would remove all remnants (depending on the chosen method (with or without data retention).
