Connecting a VCR to a new SAMSUNG TV

Hello,
I can't connect my VCR to the SAMSUNG TV I just bought. I bought a PERITEL cable on one side and HDMI on the other. Plus, I bought the 3-color cord red, white, and yellow. I plugged everything in, I selected the AV source and it displays "NO SOURCE". I don't understand.
I did the same with a DVD player and it works.
On the other hand, I have another one that says "no disc" even though there is one.
I also have another player that is a VCR on one side and a DVD player on the other that I can't view either. The tape is still inside!
Could someone help me with these 3 devices?
Thank you in advance

Hello,
What are the references (brand and model) of the VCR and what is the model of the Samsung television?
You mentioned purchasing a "PERITEL cable on one end and HDMI on the other," could you provide us with a link to this "Cable"?
If you want to be able to record TNT broadcasts on this VCR, you need to acquire a TNT decoder with a Peritel output.
To record broadcasts from a decoder or other TV Boxes, you need to specify which device it is.
It is very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
Thank you for your interest in my problem.
Brand of my VCR: LG model MG64
Brand of my TV: SAMSUNG model UE32T4305AE
Here is the link to the cable I purchased on Amazon: SCART to HDMI cable,... https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0CS6NJ52P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Best regards
I don't really understand what you want to do...
The "Scart to HDMI cable," connected to the AV1 socket of the VCR, should allow you to play a tape on your television by selecting the HDMI input used as the source on the TV.
As for the three-color cable that you have probably connected to the "composite" inputs of the TV, which is an input for it, I also assume that at the other end there is a Scart that should also be connected to the AV1 output socket of the VCR and then the TV to the AV input.
Your VCR, in my opinion too old, is no longer capable of directly recording broadcasts from TNT (incompatible with MPEG4), and the TV itself does not have a video output.
For the other devices, please also provide us with the references (Brand and model).
