SAMSUNG GALAXY A25 5G GALLERY AND FILES

Hello,
I don't understand why I cannot find the organization of all the photos stored in the internal storage in named albums in GALLERY.
When I'm in MY FILES, I can see all my folders/albums and the photos inside them are well organized, but when I go to GALLERY, not everything is there.
So how do I move an album/photos into another dedicated album to group them together?
There’s something I haven't understood, I need your guidance.
I think I've figured it out. I created a separate group in the gallery and added the albums/photos that I wanted to group together. However, it's not possible to do this in the base album. I can create the group but I can't move the albums I wanted into it.
I hope you understand because I’m a bit mixed up. I thought GALLERY was a representation of what is stored on the mobile.
Thank you! ;-)

Hello BettyM22
The Gallery - Photos is only for photos that have been taken and not moved
Then in the gallery you also have "Albums" where you should normally have all the photos
That said, the photos need to be in the specific "DCIM" directory; otherwise, they will not appear in "Gallery"
I hope this will be clearer

Good evening,
I'm not sure I understood everything.
When you are in My Files, you can see the photos that have been taken, sorted by date or by file name.
You can group them into folders that you name; for example: "Trip to Italy 2021," "Clothilde's birthday," etc. These are not albums in the usual sense of the word, but true folders.
You can move them, create subfolders, or move other photos into an existing folder.
These are the usual manipulations you can perform in a file system.----------------------------
The Gallery does not take into account any folders you may have created in My Files. It lists all the images present on the smartphone, including photos sorted by date.
You wrote:
I thought GALLERY was the photo of what is stored on the mobile. That is absolutely correct.
But it does not take folders into account.
At the bottom of the Gallery, you have:
Photos: which contains all the images regardless of their origin
Albums: the default albums make an initial classification based on the origin of the images. Photos are in DCIM or Camera. These albums are created by Samsung.
You can also create albums in the Gallery. You name them as you wish and add the images you take from Photos or other albums into them.
These albums you create in the Gallery have a virtual existence: you will not see them in My Files.
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to express it come easily.

Hello,
So in My Files / Internal Storage / DCIM I find my folders created on the phone with all the saved photos inside.
In My Files / SD Card / DCIM I find other folders created on the SD card with different photos inside.
In GALLERY I see all the folders/photos saved in the Internal Storage but not those from the SD Card.
So to view these latter folders/photos in the GALLERY,
I go to My Files / SD Card , create a folder TOTO SD into which I put the photos and I can find them in the Gallery.Another thing, on the Samsung A25 5G I feel like I have duplicates, why? Because when I go to the GALLERY, I have Photos + Albums with SD Card inside which seems to be a duplicate of Photos.
I would like to get your opinion...
Thank you
