Hello,

I just wanted to know if it’s normal that for some time now, when trying to follow a public Instagram account, I get this message: "Your request is pending." Is this normal or is my account restricted?

"Your request is pending. Some accounts prefer to manually review followers even when they are public. If you think we made a mistake, please let us know."

So it’s well generalized to all public accounts and not a restriction or a bug of my account?

it's the public accounts that set up their account this way (manually approve new followers).... it's not the case for everyone.

But how come that with my other account I can follow almost everyone then?
