Hello
The only sure thing is when it's normal, for example if the monitor (screen) doesn't receive or no longer receives a signal, it goes to sleep. It might be a screen sleep after x minutes of inactivity, adjustable in the Windows settings, which is the most common.
The countless causes in case of failure, including overheating of the processor or graphics card due to dust, which is very common; a cleaning could suffice.
Bad settings in the BIOS, a faulty driver at installation, frequencies too high due to overclocking, installation of a program, or an update (games, Windows...)
You can search through all the tutorials on the internet for everything that can cause a black screen.
