HP PHOTOSMART C5280 ALL-IN-ONE Driver
Lonicera -
Hello,
I need a driver to install an old printer. The model is a HP PHOTOSMART C5280 ALL-IN-ONE. I just contacted HP customer service, and they can't find it anymore because it's old and asked me to reach out to forums.
Best regards.

Hello everyone,
Found this:
I think to install this driver you need Flash Player... Needed for the HP Solutions Center.

Hello, the link that Kori-Kori posted above works perfectly for me on Windows 11. You can see that the OS is a bit sluggish and doesn't understand everything, but it eventually installed the HP Solution Center, which finally allows me to use my old HP 5280 printer.
I'm reposting the link

Hello.
Printer drivers are developed by their manufacturer, so the only drivers available for your printer are on HP's website:

A hello, a response, a thank you are always appreciated.-
Hey
The only drivers available for your printer are therefore on the HP website:
Not necessarily, often you can find the driver through Windows Update in the driver selection window
I encountered this recently, for a Canon
Example for a nearby HP, after waiting for hers on W10:
Hello,
Thank you all for your replies.
I went to the HP website to download the 5300 driver, but unfortunately the installation is incomplete.

??? How did you do it, there are no drivers on the HP site for this printer and Windows 10
You need to follow the steps I mentioned in the message <3>
Hello everyone.
I have successfully performed the operation via Windows Update and completed the installation of the C5200 series. Unfortunately, when I try to print from my PC, it does not appear because when I go to my PC's printers and scanners, it shows that for this printer, the driver is unavailable.
Thank you.

The drivers that Windows provides are the ones supplied by the manufacturers, in this case HP. Since the HP driver I mentioned in my first message does not work, the Windows drivers won't work either. Your printer is from 2008, it is old, and that is probably why your printer does not work with Windows 10. HP likely did not develop compatible drivers for Windows 10 for this printer.
Still no agreement
I don't see why, how Windows Update would provide in the list, drivers that are available and incompatible with the OS with which we are using Windows Update
I repeat that I just did it for a Canon printer
No driver from the manufacturer, okay with the one found by WU
Same for my (very) old HP Photosmart printer
