Troubleshooting Connection and SMS Please ensure you are entering your mobile phone number in the international format. That is: +(country code)(your number). If you encounter any issues with registration or login, please contact us using this form. Receiving a code via phone call For security reasons, login codes dictated by a phone call are only available for accounts for which two-step verification is enabled (Settings > Privacy and security > Two-step verification). Please also note that Telegram accounts can only be linked to a mobile phone number. We currently do not support landline phone numbers. Receiving a code via Telegram If you recently used any of our apps on another device (this can also be another app on the same device), we may send the login code via Telegram instead of SMS. To receive this code, simply check Telegram from any of your connected devices. You will find it in the chat with Telegram, a verified profile with a blue checkmark: Support
