Messenger PIN Code?

Hello,
For some time now, when I open Messenger on my PC, a message appears saying "enter the PIN code" and a box with 6 slots for input... I don't remember ever setting a PIN code for Messenger or FB, or if I did, I didn't write it down anywhere :-( ! Where could I find it? In fact, Messenger seems to be working, but it's true, I feel like I'm missing some messages that I receive on my mobile....

However, if you have forgotten your famous PIN code, it is possible to reset it.
Steps to reset your Messenger PIN
- Open the Messenger mobile app
- Tap on the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner
- Press the gear icon at the top
- Go to the tab: Privacy and security
- Select the option: End-to-end encrypted conversations
- Choose the option: Secure storage
- Tap on: Reset PIN
- After tapping on: Reset PIN, you must enter a new 6-digit code, and you're good to go!
