Hello,

I installed Canon Print on my iPad and since then I can't find the Preview app.

How can I recover it? (Not found in the Apple store)

Even though it's true that the problem occurred at the time of the installation of Canon PRINT and is certainly related.

I’m not sure that uninstalling Canon Print will bring back APERÇU.

it's to print with my iPad wired

The Canon ip7250 printer is Bluetooth or wired

and if I understood correctly, the Print app is only wifi: is that correct?

Thank you Didi64,

If I understood correctly, iPhone and iPad: direct printing is always done wirelessly via AirPrint or regular wifi.

For wired printing, it will be indirect via a computer: either by transferring the documents to the computer or by connecting the iPhone or iPad to the computer itself connected via cable to the printer.

Well, I’m uninstalling Canon Print…not sure I’ll see Preview reappear…

The sequel…

I uninstalled PRINT, but as expected, I didn’t recover APERÇU as a result.

And oddly, if I open a document in pdf, the message “open in PRINT” appears in the top bar.

If I click on it, it closes the document.

..and I can’t find Apple’s APERÇU application in the Apple Store.

Please, any ideas or advice?

Hello,

On your iPad, go to Settings and then look in the drop-down list:

In Sleep mode, and there you will see at the bottom: Show preview on touch only.

Either uncheck it or check it again and see if the preview comes back with the Print menu.
