Persistent virus notifications on Android phones.

Hello,

My dad is having an issue with his Galaxy S22.

He is receiving an insane number of virus notifications. If he deletes one, five new ones appear, it's hell! The name seems to be "Callmebigpapa", I can't find anything online and I am 1,800 km away from him, which doesn't help.

If you have any ideas, please.

Thank you,

Mady

Hello,

These are likely unwanted notifications that are recorded in Chrome.

Two methods:

Clear Chrome's data by checking this page.
You can also delete Chrome's data via the settings of the phone, then Applications, then Google Chrome, then Storage, then Clear data.

There is another, less drastic method of removing unwanted notifications in Google Chrome, see how to remove notifications on_Chrome_Android.
