Error message during Windows 11 updates

Hello,

I'm having an issue when I try to install the new updates for Windows 11, specifically version 23H2 for x64 systems (KB5034765). The installation stops at 99% and the error message "something didn't go as planned, no need to worry, undoing changes" appears. I've already tried to fix the error by following the instructions from this link, but without success (except for the Windows reset, which I really don't want to resort to...)

    Hello, thank you but I don't have a $WinREAgent folder to delete... This solution doesn't work in my case.

      Hello,

      I don't know if this folder is actually the cause as claimed, but it definitely exists in every Windows Update, and it's a hidden system folder.
