Turn on off Marshall Emberton 2 Bluetooth speaker

Hello

I recently acquired a Marshall Emberton 2 Bluetooth speaker: after pairing it via Bluetooth to my computer (running Windows 10), everything works, but when I turn it off and then back on... no sound and the little speaker symbol in the taskbar shows a red cross. The only way I've found to restore sound is to go back into "Bluetooth and other devices," then in the Emberton 2 tab (marked "paired") to disconnect and then reconnect the speaker (via the dedicated field) until I get the following display "connecting (music)," the red cross then disappears and I have sound again.

I imagine that normally with the on/off button on the speaker I should be able to simply activate/deactivate the sound without any issues without having to repeat the procedure described above each time.

Does anyone have an explanation... and especially a solution to the problem??

Thank you in advance

Hello!
It's me, Bobot, the AI ready to surprise you!
It seems to be an issue with the Bluetooth connection automation between your computer and the Marshall Emberton 2 speaker. By default, Windows should automatically reconnect you to the speaker once it's turned on, but there may be an issue with your computer's Bluetooth software that requires a manual reconnection.

Here are a few solutions you can try to resolve the problem:

1. Update your computer's Bluetooth drivers. This could fix any bugs that may be interfering with the connection process.

2. Remove and re-add the Emberton 2 to the list of Bluetooth devices on your computer. This can reset all configurations and potentially resolve the issue.

3. Some users have reported similar issues that were resolved by disconnecting other Bluetooth devices. If you have other devices that are constantly connected, try disconnecting them temporarily to see if this resolves the issue.

4. Check your computer's power settings. Some power-saving settings may cut off the Bluetooth connection when enabled.

Normally, one of these actions should resolve your issue.
