Hello,

I was given a Smart Tech LED TV 32" model: SMT32N30HV1U181 that works very well.

As the TV has an F connector and coaxial connection, I tried to connect the antenna with the F connector, but I don't know if it's designed for that.

After that, I noticed that some channels have disappeared. And when I wanted to rescan the channels, I was prompted for a password. And as usual, my friend forgot the password.

I would like to know if it's possible to bypass it, either by reinstalling the firmware (and how to do that), or in some other way.

Thank you.

Hello,

Generally, if the television has 2 antenna sockets, the F-type connector is for a satellite antenna.

I can't find a manual for the model 32N30HV1U1B1 see

https://www.smarttech-tv.com/index.php?route=product%2Fproduct&product_id=89&search=n3

Does it not mention a satellite tuner?

In general, in the manuals for televisions, there is a PIN code or "universal" password that allows changing this parental code

Do you have the manual or not? Try 1234

If not, contact Smarttech https://www.smarttech-tv.com/fr/contens-us/

You didn't say whether the TV has 2 antenna sockets or not.

A photo of these sockets would be helpful
