Philips turntable connection

Hello everyone,
I have acquired a cute auto turntable from Philips. Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure how to connect it to a hi-fi system for testing.
Here are the photos.
I have
1 ground cable.
1 cable with 3 wires + 1 braid. (This cable has been cut but was apparently equipped with a DIN plug.)
Knowing that the wiring includes the audio signal and a 12v power supply.
Thank you for your valuable help.

Hello,
As for the cable...
- the red wire is the + of the power supply
- the blue wire is one side of the read head
- the braid is the shielding and return of the read head
- The colorless wire is a return to the car radio in order to short-circuit the input of the read head when selected in radio mode
/!\ Be careful with the wiring on the resistors connected to the motor.
See the diagram for the different "Shaltungen" (circuits) 6/12/24 volts. For your information, see the detailed manual in French available for download here:

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.

Hello everyone,
It’s going to be difficult to find a reading needle (commonly referred to as a "diamond" or "sapphire" back in the day.
It is indeed a DIN 5 pins connector, one of the first types of connectors in electronics.
It brings back very old memories!Good luck!

Thank you for this quick and comprehensive response.
I will try all of this and make sure to get it working.
The diamond has disappeared, do you know what reference it has? Apparently, my stylus is a U 06 056.
But I can adapt another stylus, the AG 3114.
Can you recommend a website where I can find this or even a reference?
Thank you for your help.

The Philips reference for the diamond is 946/D07 (see detailed notice on page 25).
You can find it here https://www.ebay.com/itm/115713384056
or https://www.thevoiceofmusic.com/catalog/part_detail.asp?PID=P1417Thank you for your responses. I had seen that reference, but it is for an AG 3114 head. I have the original U06056 head and the diamond does not look like that at all.
I'll send it in a photo.
Maybe it would be better if I buy the complete AG 3114 head. But it's not easy to find...
Thanks again...
Male 5-pin DIN soldering connector Hello everyone,
Which one is the one among these?
P.S.: the braid of your cable is a ground shield, like was done back in the day.
So it needs to be connected to the chassis and the mass of the DIN (not to one of the pins).
The one marked in red (half shell), to crimp or solder.Regards!
