Good evening, I just bought a smart TV and I also just changed my Internet service provider. I didn't get a TV decoder thinking I wouldn't need one anymore since I now have a new TV. I bought an RJ45 socket to receive TV channels, but it's not working. Do I need to get a TV decoder again?

    Hello,

Your question makes no sense unless you specify the exact model of this TV and the channels; you need to clarify which ones.

    And there you go ....

But goodness, those line spaces are so annoying!!

    Hello,

On a a TV, channels are installed via a coaxial connection going to an antenna.

If the TV is connected to the internet, either via Wi-Fi on the Box or an Ethernet cable, an application needs to be installed. This can be done from the Android/Google Store if it's an Android TV, or from the manufacturer's website. Once the application is installed, it's through using it that you can view the channels.

If the TV has an internet browser, you can also connect to the TV channels' website to watch live.
