Hello. Quick question, do I need to remove the label on the NVMe SSD to install the heatsink?

Yes, an SSD heats up like any electronic component. SSDs tend to get a bit hotter than HDDs. Some motherboards have a heatsink underneath which the SSD is placed. Some SSDs come with a slightly thicker heatsink that we need to attach on top of it. We can also add a thermal heatsink for M.2 SSDs that can be found on the market.

For this type of SSD, you don't need to use a heatsink, it doesn't heat up.
