Pairing TCL TV remote

Hello

I received this TV:
TCL 40S5200E Full HD Android TV 40 Inches

During the installation, I connected it to the livebox, set a language, etc., and reached the step: "pair your remote control"

I need to press home + ok

I have tried for hours but it doesn't work. It's written to "click right" to move to the next step but nothing works either.

I bought a universal remote control but nothing works, the same for remote control apps on my phone.

The Amazon seller says he can't return the remote control.

Do you have a solution please? I'm desperate

    This TCL TV doesn't come with a remote control??

    How did you set the language, etc...? Without a remote control...

    Have you tried without connecting the Player (TV box from the Livebox)? Because it is possible that the "pairing" is for the remote control of the player, not for the TV...

      There is indeed a remote control included. I used it to select the language, the livebox, the language. But at the step "pair your remote control", it no longer works: neither "press home + ok" nor "press right"

    You have the user manual here with questions you might want to ask + the possible issues (but they don't mention them in this summary).

    Regarding pairing, you might need to bring the remote control closer to your TV and press 2 buttons at the same time? (check the manual...).

    Principle of pairing a Free remote with its box....
