Ctrl+Alt+Del on Linux??? Solved

Hello, Is there something like the Ctrl+Alt+Del command (on Windows) in Linux???? Thank you in advance Nussbi  Note: (I'm in a bit of a mess!!!!)

Otherwise, if the computer is really bugging (graphic bug among other things), you can restart X with ctrl+alt+backspace
and it will take you back to the login screen...
if you are on Ubuntu, in the administration menu you have your control center and there you can see the processes, etc...

to kill an app, it doesn't work as mentioned above
if the app is visible in KDE, ctrl+alt+esc is enough to click on the app
otherwise
you need to find the process number
$ps -A |grep program name
kill
example with kedit
[@ ~]$ ps -A |grep kedit
5413 ? 00:00:00 kedit
[@abo- ~]$ kill 5413
see you

Hi well if you want you can enter a terminal, type: sudo apt-get install htop and there you can properly close anything you want, but better than if you did ALT+F4
