Missing snap friend

Hello,
I would like to get some information.
Yesterday, while scrolling through my Snap, I saw that one of my friends was no longer there.
I started searching for his name in the search bar, but he didn't appear. So I began to think that he had blocked me.
I then asked a friend to check via her account, and she couldn't find him either. I created another account with a temporary email, searched for him, and didn't find him either.
It should be noted that he disappeared just like that; it's not that he deleted me because there was no grey x, he just vanished.
I thought maybe he deleted his account, but my friend told me that it takes 30 days for the account to be deleted.
She said he probably just logged out of his account or uninstalled the app.
But I don't really have a clear answer.
