Hello, Sharp Aquos LC46HD1E TV, the menu doesn't open, nothing works with the remote control which is properly powered on.

    Is the remote you are trying to use the original Sharp remote?

    New batteries are always recommended in case of doubt!!

      Hello, yes original remote control and new batteries. I tested removing the batteries, holding down the power button for 20 seconds, and putting the batteries back... nothing...

      Hello, even on a 2009 device?

      I tried pressing the yellow and blue buttons simultaneously but nothing happens, could my new SFR decoder interfere with the pairing between the remote and the TV?

        Solution found by searching, and with the help of your responses, I unplugged the TV, waited a few seconds, and plugged it back in... it's simple but I didn't think of it...
