Fiber and desktop PC

Hello everyone. I have some questions about fiber, particularly regarding the various connections to be made for the TV and the PC. Currently, with ADSL, the boxes are connected to the only socket, which is in the living room near the TV. My desktop computer in another room is working with a Wi-Fi dongle. How will this work with fiber? My current provider (Free) talks about needing to run a cable throughout the house. Another one wasn't really able to answer me. Can a Wi-Fi dongle work with fiber? I regularly work from home and would like to be sure of the outcome before I proceed. I should mention that I am a tenant. So thank you for your feedback, please.

Hello.
The best way to take advantage of fiber speed is to connect the PC directly to the box via Ethernet, but WiFi works too, especially since, for example, the Freebox POP comes with a repeater , which can help in case of poor WiFi signal reception in certain rooms of your home.
Can a WiFi dongle work with fiber?
Yes, fiber doesn't change anything except for the higher speed, for example TP-Link-Archer-T3U.

A hello, a response, a thank you are always appreciated.
Hello,
With fiber, how will that work? My current operator (Free) is talking about a cable that needs to be run through the house. Another one wasn't really able to answer me. Not necessarily.
I'm with SFR. The box is in the living room and my PC is in the bedroom. The portable PC uses a repeater to pick up the Wi-Fi network. I have a good DL/UL ratio (Download/Upload).
For the TV, you need a TV decoder (for each TV) that can be deployed as many times as there are rooms in the house.

The easiest way is to use a mobile install a WiFi network scanning app and you will have a signal strength indicator
Hello,
if the apartment is new and equipped with a communication cabinet and RJ45 wall sockets, the fiber box will preferably be installed in the communication cabinet, not in the living room.
If there’s none of that, it will be installed in the same place as the other one.
Modern fiber boxes have a more powerful Wi-Fi than the old ones (often Wi-Fi 6 on high-end models).
Wi-Fi 6 is generally compatible with older versions, but a few cases of old stubborn cards sometimes arise; if that’s the case, you’ll need to invest in a new Wi-Fi 6 USB adapter.
And here we go, here it is ....
But goodness, how annoying the line spacing is!!
