Hello! I would like to know what the difference is between the Casio 35+e and the Casio 35+e II because I ordered a Casio 35+e and ended up with a Casio 35+e II.

Otherwise, my high school requested a Casio GRAPH 25 + pro or a Casio GRAPH 35 but I can only find the 25 + e or 35 + e. Do you know where I can find them please, thank you!

Hello,

The 35+e is an older model that can still sometimes be found on the market; it should be dismissed in this context because it does not have an examination mode and does not seem to be programmable in Python.

Hello,

I confirm what brucine wrote: you need to take a calculator, programmable in Python and having exam mode.

This points to the Casio Graph35+EII.

I don't understand why a high school imposes one brand over another.

The Texas TI-83 Premium CE is also perfectly suitable (8€ more expensive), and the ergonomics of Texas calculators are still far superior to those of Casio.

And if you're going to impose a brand, why not impose a product that isn't outdated today!

It gives a sad impression that teachers are stuck on one brand and one model, the one they know well, and that they have no intention of adapting to anything else.

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello,

There is the easy solution; I had a teacher at university who was nearing retirement and did not teach one of the most evolving subjects but had been reading the same yellowed manuscript for at least 10 years: it avoids spending time integrating new approaches, for the calculators, it involves proposing new exercises that are adapted to the new key combinations rather than just copying the same ones that have been around for years and are also found in the textbooks.

Additionally, as a certain minister said, the inertia that is inseparable from any administration and the Mammoth in particular is at play.

It is also true, however, that a common model will, on the other hand (at least in theory), allow for less time to be spent on explanations for everyone.
